Davina bend her knees and reached out to pet the gentle petals. The roses were in full bloom. It's smooth scent calmed her jittery nerves.
"Your Majesty..."
Fallon hesitated to say anything. This was a crucial situation for her. No one expected Calandra to show up all of a sudden. What he wanted to know was what Davina was thinking about. What was her next step going to be?
"What are you going to do now?"
Davina looked up at him and sighed. At first glance, Fallon thought Davina was going to give up on her relationship. But after taking a good look at her, he realised something.
