Elara POV. My left arm ached terribly from the wound I had inflicted. I managed to free myself. Breathing heavily, I stared at my freed wrist—the skin there was roughly scraped, bleeding, but the pain felt much better than the suffocating feeling of Kael's bond. I had struggled to tear off the damn rope, and now it lay broken on the marble floor.
