(Nisha) I looked at Cameron’s neck and put my hand over it, rubbing my thumb against the two stars that were under his skin. He shut his eyes and hummed at my touch. The spark that I carried since the mountain, which had multiplied previously, now filled me as much as my magic did. The golden thread I felt the first time I saw him was solid. It was woven into something stronger by what we had went through together and by accepting and choosing each other. The marking only solidified in in a way it could never unravel.
