After we had a plan, I went to write it up in my office while they went to see their mates at the cottage.
I couldn’t put this off anymore. My hands were sweating so badly that it took me three times to attempt to lock my office behind me.
When I got to the cottage, I knocked, and even to me, it sounded stiff and rigid.
“Come in,” Abigial sang.
I opened the door but stood at the entrance. Jackson, Lucas, and Isabella were playing with the twins on the floor. Well, shaking some things at them, they were still relatively useless. Abigail, Isla, and Nisha were sitting on the couch, staring at me.
