(Cameron) I hated not knowing. I hated the threads of possibility that spooled from this. We had dealt with a lot of vague threats before, but even with our research, even with finding more and more clues, it still pointed to nothing concrete. And anything we found just pointed to something more terrifying. If what that witch, Esmeralda, said were true, Soleil was closer to a deity, or she used to be.
