Ingo and Griffin have arrived and are catching up with several college friends. Ingo can't seem to get the beautiful blonde out of his head. Griffin wanted to make a bet on which one would find her first and get her into bed. But Ingo turned the bet down.
This is the first time Griffin suggested such a degrading thing. It's the worst words he has ever said.
Ingo is looking for his parents when he sees the beautiful blonde dressed in a figure-fitting satin amethyst gown with a sash on the right side. A sheer netting of long sleeves and the top, with both breasts covered with a lace satin material as the gown. He clenches his fist and snarls when he sees her arm wrapped around his father-in-law's arm. “ I don’t believe this shit.” He’s staring at Chamblee.
Griffin walks beside him and looks at her. “Gold digger. Both of those damn women are f*****g gold diggers. I should have known something was wrong with her ass when she sent that arrogant message to you through the waiter. Good f*****g riddance.”
Ingo is watching her as she introduces the black-haired woman to Doug and Sloane. He notices that she looks his way but looks away as soon as their eyes meet. “What is it about you that has stirred me up?” He rubs his chin, looking at Chamblee, kissing her cheek, and leading her to two men he doesn't recognize. He wants to know why a gorgeous woman would sleep with that old man. A pat on his shoulder brings him out of his thoughts.
“Son, tomorrow you and I need to have a serious ass talk about a few things that your mother and I aren’t happy about.” Raziel notices that something has his son's attention. And follows his eyes. " Yes, your mother and I saw the threesome walk in. I have to say they are two beautiful women. But the blonde is ravishing. I believe she’s the one you're treeing.” He looks at Chamblee talking to the two women. Then he sees the blonde looking at his son. "I'd better join your mother before she drinks her third martini." He walks toward Coleen.
Jurnee looks at him and then kisses her father’s cheek. “It’s time I introduce myself to my husband.” She winks at Chamblee.
He chuckles. "I don’t know what Ingo has done, but whatever it is, his ass is in the doghouse.”
Cisley looks at Ingo. “He needs to put his tongue back in his mouth.”
Griffin walks beside Ingo. But he’s looking at Jurnee. “It seems you are the gold digger's new target.
“All I know is she's owning that dress. Damn,” Ingo is looking at the way her hips sway.
Jurnee stops in front of him and looks him up and down. She gives a little smile, just enough to let him know that she approves of his handsomeness.
Ingo extends his hand to her. She lays her hand on his. He kisses the back of it. “Ingo Vaughan. May I ask what your name is?” He flashes his pearly white at her.
“Jurnee DePaiva.” She stares at him. "Maybe I should have said Jurnee Vaughan, your wife.”
Ingo and Griffin's mouths fall open. Ingo shook his head. "My wife?” He looks her up and down and around the room. He sees that most men in the room are lusting over his wife. Ingo takes his jacket off and puts it around her shoulder.
She frowns, looking at him. “What are you doing?”
“It’s drafty in here. You might catch a cold.” Ingo is trying to slide her arm into the sleeve of the jacket.
“If you don’t stop, I will kick you in something you seem to enjoy using a lot.” She snatched away from him, took his jacket off, and handed it to him. “Now that I’ve introduced myself. You will be hearing from me soon. I do mean soon. I warned you that I wouldn’t be made a laughing stock.” She walks away to join her father and Cisley.
Griffin's mouth is still open as he’s looking at her hips swaying.
Ingo looks at him and hits his arm. “Stop undressing my damn wife. Get those nasty ass thoughts of her out of your damn head.” He walks over to his parents.
“Damn, man, look at her ass. How can I not think?” Griffin thinks before he stops looking at Jurnee.
Raziel is waving a waitress away from Coleen. She’s on her fourth drink. When she drinks too much, she always gets riled up. She and Savanna always managed to argue. Savanna was Raziel's girlfriend before he started dating her. But Coleen still believes that the two of them had an affair after they were married. That is the only affair she hasn’t been able to get proof of.
Ingo takes the martini from his mother and drinks it. She waves for the waitress to come back. Raziel shook his head. Ingo turns to look at Jurnee. “Well, let me introduce you to my wife.” He points at Jurnee drinking a glass of water with a slice of lemon in it.
"Are you serious?" his father smiles, looking at her.
"Yes, that is Jurnee DePaiva. I have to eat my words. There isn't one damn thing ugly about her gorgeous ass. She's perfect," Ingo licked his lips, looking at her.
"Now I see why the prince fell in love with her." His mother nods her head and walks away to get herself a drink.
"Prince, what damn prince?' Ingo is looking at his mother's back.
His father tells him what he heard from his friends about Prince Salman and Jurnee. Ingo is taken in every word. He would cut his eyes over at her, then put his attention back on his father. “I wonder, does she still love the asshole?”
Raziel looks at him, confused. “More than likely, she does. Their wedding was supposed to have taken place this year. But as you can see, she married you instead. No one really knows all the details, but the prince will be marrying someone else soon."
"Where did she go?" Ingo is looking around the room like a crazy man.
"Son, calm down. What has gotten into you?" Raziel is still looking at him.
"Father, I have to find her. Did you see how all these bastards were lusting over my wife? " Ingo swiftly walks away to look for his wife.
"His wife? For a man who didn't want to marry her. He sure is jealous as hell," Raziel mumbles. "Oh, s**t," He rushes over to his wife and Savanna. They just poured their drinks on each other.
Coleen and the woman are tied up and pulling each other's hair. Raziel pulls them apart,d picks his wife up, and throws her over his shoulder. Everyone is used to it. It happens all the time. Savanna's husband, Cory, rolls his eyes at her. “I've warned your ass. Let's go home. This s**t is getting old.” He’s walking to the exit. Savana is limping behind him with one shoe on and the other in her hand.
Ingo still hasn’t seen Jurnee or the other woman who came with Chamblee. After searching for her for over an hour, he walks to Chamblee. “Do you have any idea where my wife has disappeared to?”
“Yes, she has gone home. She said something about her having some heavy things to move. Don’t ask because I have no idea what she’s talking about.” Chamblee is sipping on his champagne. " Would you care to join me for a drink?"
"No, I'm calling it a night." Ingo is looking disappointed.
"Son, don't be sad. I'm positive your wife will be in touch with you soon." Chamblee walks away laughing.

The following day, Faun arrives at the office early. She is met by movers moving furniture into Brynn's office. What has that damn woman done now? She starts to go find out,t but changes her mind. Faun knew that Ingo would be upset because she canceled his date.
Everyone arrives at the office and looks at the movers leaving the building. Penna walks over to Faun’s desk, asking, “Why were the movers here?”
Faun is about to say it for Brynn. But she sees Brynn peeping down the hall before she steps out of the elevator. Now Faun is confused as hell.
Brynn walks past her and doesn’t speak as usual. She opens the door to her office and sees a woman sitting behind a desk and another woman sitting in front of the desk. “Excuse me, but this is my office.” She walks into the office, looking at them.
Jurnee stood up, walked around the desk with her arms folded, and walked around Brynn, looking her up and down. Then she looks at Cisley. “So, this is the putain that decided to broadcast whatever her delusional mind has installed in her so-called brain regarding my husband."
"Yep, that's her." Cisley looks at Brynn.
"What? I don't know who you are, but this is my office. Now get out." Brynn is backing away from her.
Jurnee walked toward her, matching every step Brynn took. "Your things have been moved to a cubicle, as the other account executives are. I suggest you find your way to it. It's the desk with the boxes on top of it. Suppose you can't find it that way. Sniff for the foul scent of that funky ass perfume that you wear."
“Your husband?” Who is your husband?” Brynn mumbles and bumps against the wall.
Cisley is looking at Brynn, laughing.
“I take it that you have screwed around so much that you can’t keep up with the crap that you have conjured to catch a man.” Jurnee props one hand on the wall beside Brynn’s head, looking at her.
Brynn doesn’t know what to do. “Ah, ah. You never said your name,” she closes her eyes.
“That gorgeous woman is Jurnee Vaughan. My wife.” A voice came from the door.
Cisley looks at Ingo walking into the office with his hands in his pockets and a huge grin.
Jurnee never looked at him. She looked at Brynn. “Are you going to walk? Or do you need me to throw your ass to your desk?"
"Walk, I'll walk," Brynn says, slides to the right, and runs out of the office.
"Damn, good choice. " Jurnee turns to look at Ingo. "You sure do have a habit of using that term loosely."
"What term would that be?" He smiles, looking at her dressed in a white pantsuit and a Tegan 14k yellow gold Y necklace in white diamonds.
"My wife. It seems that I'm your wife when it's convenient for you. But when you're busy taking pictures with that slang that just left out of here, what am I then? I warned you, but you didn’t listen. My things are being moved to your, I mean our, penthouse as we speak. Get used to looking at me. Now, if you don’t mind, my assistant and I have some work to do. Don’t be late for dinner. It's at seven on the dot.” Jurnee walks behind her desk and sits down. She hands Cisley a piece of paper.
"It seems that you also have a habit." Ingo walks over to her desk and points at her.
Jurnee sits back in her chair and looks up at him. "What habit is that?"
"Shirts. You have a habit of not wearing one," he storms out of her office.
She looks down at her cleavage. "Maybe if you don't look so hard, you wouldn't notice it."
Ingo walks into his office. Griffin is in there waiting for him. “Last night, you left early. How did the night go with your wife?”
Ingo points at him to say something, but can’t think of anything.
“I take it things didn't go well.” Griffin is looking out the door at Brynn. “What is that about?”
“Oh, my wife threw her out of the office and moved into it. She dared to tell me, ’ Don’t be late for dinner; it’s at seven.” He sits down and then smiles, thinking that Jurnee is jealous of Brynn.
