After waking up on the shore, naked and soaked in the warmth of sleeping next to Lucas all night, I wondered why people went to such great lengths for the comfort of the king sized beds and luxurious bedrooms. Maybe it was because I was had all I needed right here with me, except Abby and Aiden—I was sure Lucas could make arrangements to have them over, and maybe we could start our own little family here too—but this was the highest form of comfort to me.
