(Rebecca's POV) Eric is already by the car. He doesn't reach for me. He takes my bag off my shoulder — one smooth motion, shoulder strap to his hand — and opens the passenger door. "Rebecca, wait." Sean calls behind me. I don't turn around. "We're not done," he says. "Goodnight, Sean." I get in the car. Eric closes my door. Goes around. Gets in. Starts the engine.
