(Rebecaa's POV) My keynote at the International Robotics Conference is in three weeks. I'm rehearsing it to the workshop wall. The wall does not have opinions, which makes it a better audience than Eric, who has opinions about everything, or Jack, who has opinions about everything except the things Eric has opinions about, at which point he develops different opinions out of what I suspect is pure seven-year-old principle. I run the slides on the projector. Click. The K2 intro slide loads — white housing, the jointed arm mid-wave, the tagline I fought marketing to keep: Built to make sick kids laugh. I pace. Three steps left. Turn. Three steps right. "K2's humor design isn't incidental," I say to the wall. "It's load-bearing." Click. The next slide: a graph. Compliance rates vs. humo
