Kaiser’s POV
“Where’s my mate?” Darkson growled loudly in my head.
I glanced through the hall, but she was absent. Where might she be? I walked out, going to the open area.
For the few days she has been here, I’ve observed what she likes and don’t, and she certainly enjoys being out alone, especially at night sitting under the moonlight.
I sniffed the air following her scent, and it led me straight to the field. I stopped after picking a different scent.
What’s she doing here?. From the look of things my mate was ranting to her. Do they know each other.
“Emery?” I called and saw her shoulders tense up as she hurriedly stood up and stared at me.
I wrapped my around my mate watching her, “Hello, big brother!” She greeted me, and my mate suddenly turned stiff.
