Emery’s POV
“Thank you for walking with me!” I said happily as Mia walked beside me.
I was alone in my room when she came and suggested in taking me around the pack. I was so eager and bored, so I tagged along.
I was so intrigued with everything, the pack is beautiful and a bit higher in facility than mine.
“Wait here, want to quickly grab something,” Mia said, excusing herself.
I stood on my spot waiting for her when I noticed a blue, eerie smoke coming from a corner.
The smoke lingered in the air, and then it came around me slowly, leading me in that direction. I found myself walking forward and then I hit something hard.
“Oww!” I rubbed my head, staring at space.
There was nothing on the way, yet my head hurt badly. That scene alone made me so curious as the smoke kept coming
