I sat in my office going through my file when the door was pushed open, revealing an angry Mateo.
“Why do you keep acting this way?” He asked, walking towards the table.
“Meaning?”
“Meaning you keep causing her pain, and it’s unbearable to me!” Mateo replied, and I frowned.
“You know these are the types of girls he likes, rare in beauty, lovely, and smart. You know these are the types of girls he admires, and here there’s one for you, but you’re misusing it,” Mateo said, sending cold stares at me.
Deep down I know he’s right, I have been hurting my mate, but it isn’t my intention. If I don’t do that, then I can’t stop myself from going over to her, and she needs to hate me to stop me too.
