“Let me out! I want to go home!”   Clanging steel had woken me up from the slumber that overtook me. My head was pounding, and it was hard to adjust to the sight of where I was at.   The ground was cold against my face, one of the very few parts that I could still feel on my body. My fingers were numb, and my senses felt as if they were failing me.   “Someone save me! Anybody please.” A voice kept crying out into the darkness. The bars kept rattling harshly and my brain wasn’t cooperating with me.   “Shut the f**k up you dumb slut! Nobody is coming to save your dumbass,” someone had called out to her. The girl had started sobbing, her loud cries echoing down the area.   “Don’t…” my voice came out as a croak and I trailed off. My throat was in pain, it felt as if I had swallow
