Chapter Nine A Pleasant Surprise Saturday morning turned out to be a glorious day. The month of May in the UK can be hit or miss, but today was a hit; beautiful blue skies, with an occasional fluffy white cloud. Laura was first up for a change, and she made the tea and toast for us both. Then she headed into the shower and came back to dry her hair. I hit the showers too.
