“How did everything go?” I ask Camille as we sit in my living room, watching a documentary. I'm asking her about Victor and if they sorted their issues.
“He confessed everything to me. He told me that the girl didn't know he has a mate and he tried pushing her away to no avail.” she says then sighs. “I don't think I'll be able to take it anymore if I witness such a scenario again!” she concludes.
“I don't think he'll try that again. He knows more than anyone else what the moon goddess can do to unfaithful mates!” I assure her.
