The conversation continued to flow around me, but I was dejected. I had been completely stunned at being rejected when I had worn my heart on my sleeve. Addison loved me, of that I was sure. I would have never thought Addison would ignore me, begging her for another chance. I felt that this whole situation could be easily solved.
