Addison’s POV
I helped Corbin use the facilities, hearing the door open and shut numerous times as people entered and exited. I didn’t need to go, but my family was busy speaking to all the well-wishers and networking. I couldn’t help them with that. Phillip offered to take Corbin, but it wasn’t his responsibility. I straightened his clothes and gave him a small smile before leaving the stall.
I braced Corbin on my leg to let him wash his hands and noticed a tall, thin blonde shooting me dirty looks. I didn’t know her, but she obviously had something she wanted to say to me. She started to talk as we dried our hands.
