Phillip’s POV
Addison’s kiss surprised me, but I wouldn’t deny her. I enjoyed it but didn’t want to take advantage of her. She had a horrible scare today, and I can’t abuse her trust like that. I hated to break the kiss, but I didn’t want her to regret anything in the morning. She needed my comfort, and I will happily give that to her. But tonight, I want to be there for her. I have already waited this long. There’s no hurry. Addison was worth waiting for.
“Phillip, I’m ready,” Addison breathed against my lips as she went to kiss me again. “I want to be with you.”
