I can't help myself. I burst into the clearing and charge him. Hitting him hard with the crook of my neck and taking him down. He jumps up and shifts instantly. His shift is fast and seamless. He falls down on all 4 paws in the blink of an eye.
He starts circling me looking for a time to strike. I look at him. He is a huge wolf. He has black fur and shining golden eyes. His eye colour really surprises me. My wolf looks so similar to my human I was expecting him to have dark eyes. I can't seem to stop looking at his golden eyes, they are mesmerizing.
