Sam’s POV: Angel is visibly shaken as she leaves Rory and me, but says nothing about herself and the prophecy. She might not have realized Rory was hinting at who she is to us, but she understands more of why Rory is hidden away and not out there helping our kingdom. I crawl into bed with Rory, sighing. His face has come more alive after Angel’s visit. He looks more like himself than he has done in a decade. I stay close to him, snuggling in his arms, thinking. A few minutes later, Rory clears his throat. “Why did you bring Angel here?” Rory asks. “You play a dangerous game with her. You know what is at stake.
