Next to the pond are a few mossy boulders. They are relatively flat and look inviting. I climb onto one, enjoying the feel of the soft moss. The scene before me is serene, and I lie down to watch the lilies and the moon’s reflection. I breathe deeply, loving the fresh air and the scent of water lilies. My wolf said it’s not the water lilies that smell this nice, but it’s more pungent at the pond. She must be wrong, but I would love to hear her thoughts. Knowing I might be in the forest for a while, I take my time to enjoy the sight. Thanks to the moss, the rock might be softer, but eventually, I need to move to another position. When I’m about to sit up again, I notice someone is behind me. I shouldn’t have let my guard down like that. My heart beating, I jump around to another surprise.
