I sigh and sit back for a few seconds. Taking the time stops the ringing in my ears, giving me a more functional brain. So here are the facts: some odd creature I’ve never seen before kidnapped me. We crashed. He disappeared, and I fled using a random car that stopped to help us. A part of me feels terrible for not checking the person whose car I’m in. Not that I could have done anything if the taxidriver, whatever he is, did something to the owner of this car. Maybe we could have escaped together? I wish I knew more, but I do not dare go back. With all the police and ambulances going past me, I hope whoever got help in time.
