Alfie doesn't read the letter. He instead shoved it into the back pocket of his jeans and went about the photoshoot. He had avoided looking in whatever direction Crisanto had been and by two had hauled his ass out of the venue and into a cab. He checks his pocket for the letter and sighs. He doesn't know what to do, his heart felt like it was going to burst out of his chest. When he gets home, he finds Fatima lying down on the couch with a worn copy of If I Stay in her hand. He lifts her legs, sat down and then placed her legs on his thighs. "Hey boo. How was your date?" "Good. Great. We kissed today." Alfie says, pointedly staring at the table in front of him. "I didn't really feel anything. It was bland but then the second time was slightly better. I felt...something." Fatima sits up
