Thea Soft, steady beeps call to me, but I’m so comfortable that I’m not ready to get up yet. I stretch my arms above my head lazily and blink my eyes open slowly. I feel a pinch and pull on the back of my hand, and my eyes shoot open at the sensation. I’m in what looks to be a hospital, but it’s not Golden Claw. I sit up, looking around at the beige walls and white tiled floor that glows in the bright sunlight pouring in from the window.
