I can’t move on my spot. I can’t think clearly now that I’ve told him that Bullet is not his son.
Chadrick stared at me with confused eyes. “Do you have a son with another man?” His voice was shaking. It’s as if he doesn’t want to ask it but he doesn’t have a choice.
I stared at him. “Do you think I am capable of surrendering myself to another man?” I asked him back.
I’m pained by his words but I understand him. Everything is confusing if I don’t explain it. But…explaining it would mean going back to that painful day…three years ago.
