“I think you are getting better,” the doctor told Chadrick. “We could discharge you by tomorrow.” Chadrick smiled widely and thanked the doctor. He’s been wanting to go home for weeks now but the doctor was very critical on his condition and didn’t want to send him home if he wasn’t one hundred percent alright. The doctor smiled at me before leaving the room with the nurse following behind. I looked to Chadrick and saw him grinning like he won the lottery. I shook my head and went on to the table to prepare his food. I got him his favorite doughnuts with some Mexican take-outs. I know that he likes Mexican foods and I got exactly what he ordered in the fast food near the university. “I think Sage or Porter will come tomorrow to send you home when you get discharged,” I told him.
