It didn’t make it any easier for me to hear Blake say that. He was remorseful and upset but he was still talking about the fact he had been sent here to murder me, and I hadn’t fully processed that information yet.
I trusted him, and I guess that Brooke would have been screaming at me to get the hell away from him but something made me certain he was being genuine, and that staying here with him was the best thing I could do right now.
His words could have been considered romantic in a different context, and no one had ever said anything like that about me before. He was talking with a real passion in his voice when he explained how he felt about me and I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to respond.
Was I supposed to thank him? Or tell him that he had changed my outlook, too? Or kick him
