I almost shrieked the words, and a woman in a trendy black sweater dress with a name badge pinned to it hissed at me to be quiet.
“What? Is it really so shocking that someone like me might be here?”
Brooke was stood silently beside me. I could tell that she was not impressed.
She folded her arms over her chest and tapped her foot impatiently. She had definitely made her mind up about Blake.
It didn’t make me any less eager to speak to him.
