As I went to the lab, Drake was already there. It was more awkward than in class. Even though he was explaining the experiment, I couldn't concentrate at all. And I saw him being restless too. s**t, this is getting worse.
I know there can't be anything further between me and him. Or else I would be risking his job. Or even if anybody finds out, he will have to face legal action for getting interested in his student. Hm… Perhaps he was thinking the same...
We were both acting strangely and somehow managed to finish the session. He gave me back my record book and appreciated that I did well. I just nodded and left the classroom, as I didn't want to stay any longer with him. Then I got a call from Hailey.
