Aura's POV :
After reading Drake's note, my mood lit up. I prepared my mommy's favourite breakfast and I was getting ready for school. But then I heard the door opening sound. Looks like Mom came back early. I quickly put on my uniform and went down to see mom. To my surprise, she wasn't that drunk. She looked at me and I noticed she looked sad.
"Mom, what happened?? Is everything okay??" I asked her.
She looked at me with watery eyes and said,
"Aura, we need to leave soon for the eastern side. The time is up…!!"
"What do you mean Mom?? I thought I convinced you to stay until my exams. Why the rush??" I asked nervously, as I couldn't think about moving from here now. And why does mom look sad?? I was very confused too.
