I was on pins and needles, staring at the phone screen, wondering whether or not I should call the police. I've been trying to call my family and friends since the morning, but no one answered. What's worse, I receive the same message every time I dial any number.

I tried each number three times, for a total of eighteen attempts in the last hour. Something must have happened that no one in my family was available by phone. I unlocked the screen and tried redialing my mother's number, but the result was the same. I cursed and started biting the nail on my thumb, bouncing my leg nervously. What if something happened to them, and they decided to exclude me from the informed group?
