For days now, I have been watching Nina from afar whenever we were at school. She didn't seem to be repulsed by Jerome every time they tried to talk to her. My eyes couldn't help but wander down to the string that was tied around their fingers. This is all I can do, for now, just watch her from afar and make sure she's safe. There are endless possibilities for what could happen, and all those possibilities just end up putting her and the baby at risk.
