"Nina..." he said as he fumbled with his thumbs.
He was shifting uncomfortably in his seat. I raised an eyebrow at him as I watched him.
"I hope you don't let what i said bothere you that much, you know from last time..." he trailed off. "But I hope you don't ignore it either."
"Jerome... I already told you that I like someone else. What do you want me to do?" I asked.
I've already clearly told him that I liked someone else. So why does this feel like he's still trying to win me or something. He gulped and stared at me for a few minutes. Before he could open his mouth, Dan comes over to our table and wraps his arm around my shoulder.
"Hey, Nina. What are you doing here?" Dan asked as he directed his attention towards me.
"I was just talking with Jerome." I said.
