Ethan woke me with his cold nose and I got up as the warriors prepared to leave. I moved behind a boulder, shifted, and joined the search. We followed the same road, knowing they had taken a car, so there was no scent to track. The road stretched on with no turnoffs, so we kept going. After hours with no sign of patrols or threats, we knew they were far from here. I started to worry about Dallas, and Ethan nudged me. “We’ll find them.” He said. “But will they still be alive?” I asked. “They took Dallas to use him against Ryker.” Ethan said. “Yeah, that makes sense.” I replied. “Any other properties nearby?” He asked. “No, everything was hidden.” I said. “We’ll find it, Mason and I are checking in every twelve hours.” He said.
