I was glad Ethan hadn’t told anyone what I planned to do once we reached the castle, because I needed it to hit like a storm no one saw coming. I didn’t want Enzo or Justin catching on, and I wanted to be the surprise none of them expected. They wouldn’t support it anyway, so we kept it between us, and I knew this was the best way to slip through the castle and past the patrols in the surrounding woods. Ethan backed me completely, and that was enough.
We stayed in the gym all day. After breakfast we started with weapons training, then moved into hand to hand combat, and once that was done we cleared the space so we could train in wolf form. Because of how much my wolf stood out, Ethan insisted we stay hidden, and the gym had no windows, so he locked the doors before we shifted.
