With a roar of fury, I raised the gun and fired into the air. The sound of the gunshot was deafening, and I watched in satisfaction as Carly let out a scream and clutched her ears in terror. I stood there, breathing heavily, feeling the power of the weapon in my hands.
I looked around at her parents , watching them cower in fear, and my anger turned to a dark satisfaction. Carly was the one who had always annoyed me the most, always whispering and wanting to show off. Now, I was in control.
I turned to the father, rage bubbling up inside of me. "Do I look like I'm here to play?" I snarled, my voice low and menacing. The father began to plead, his voice trembling.
