My gaze darted from my dad to Hayden but before I could even speak, I heard Hayden’s voice.
“What’s the condition?” He asked, his voice tinged with impatience. I cleared my throat and locked gaze with Hayden, folding my arms.
“I will only stay, if I’m allowed to go back to school,” I said, my voice firm.
