VIOLET’S POV
The closer I got to my destination, the faster my heart raced in my chest, almost hurting my ribcage. I didn’t know what to expect, and I didn’t know if this trap Aurora had set for me was a simple – she was alone type of trap or if she had a few men with her – one I could escape from.
But I sure knew that I had a lot of questions for her, for my father if he really was alive and for the Rogue King who hired Aurora. I needed to understand fully why my family had become his target all these years.
I pulled the car into the hotel’s parking lot and stepped out of it. It looked completely deserted, entirely different from the way it was the last time we were here. What the hell happened here? I asked myself, but I couldn’t possibly have the answer.
