Romano looked at the werewolf king. He did not feel like today was his lucky day. He had been caught at his first attempt of becoming a criminal, and now his sister would pay the price. However, both the king and his purple-haired queen’s faces had turned from a hardened stare to a soft gaze when they looked at him. He was good a reading people. Being a lawyer, he had to understand body language, in order to do his job, the ability to ‘read the room’ when practising in a court of law, was imperative when representing clients. Right now, the body language of the King and Queen nearly gave him hope, that somehow, he could come out of his dire situation. However, he did not know if it was his own desperation, or if these werewolf royals really could help him.
