“Die! Blood for blood!” I screamed out before I shifted.
“I love you, Cole,” I heard her whisper as I saw her close her eyes. I didn’t give a s**t who she loved; she would be dead soon. I charged at her and easily pushed her to the ground. She lay there, still, and calm and that was not what I wanted. I wanted her to suffer. I clawed at her body trying to get a reaction out of her, but she continued to just lay there unmoving. I shifted back into my human form.
