Elaine followed the dracone into the Caves of Umbra, her rage clouding any clever judgements she could have made. The image of Hexus's wounded body, limp in a pool of blood, was the only thing she saw as she entered the darkness. Her gleaming hair and eyes provided enough light for her to see, but did not accentuate the darker corners of the stone walls. She moved deeper, her eyes searching for the grey dracone, the one whose claws were laced with his blood.
