“Boss, naistorbo ko ba kayo?”
Masama kong tiningnan si Pablo dahil sa tanong niya. I looked at him as if he just asked the most stupid, obvious question he could ever ask. Huminga ako nang malalim dahil baka makalimutan kong kanang-kamay ko siya.
“What do you think, Pablo?” tanong ko sa kanya. I waited for his reaction and saw him scratching the back of his head as if he was really clueless of what’s going on.
“Hindi ko alam, boss. Are you really gonna fúck that maid?” tanong niya. There’s a hint of doubt and disbelief in his eyes—a normal reaction for someone who has seen me date women who are much classy and graceful than Adelina.
