I sat on the front steps of the packhouse, anxiously waiting for Averie to return home. I saw her leaving earlier, but when I asked her where she was going, she refused to tell me. I could have used my Alpha voice on her, but that didn’t feel right so I let her leave even though my gut was telling me that I should go with her. She just messaged me a few minutes ago asking me to come outside the packhouse and wait for her, which made my anxiety spike even more. Where on earth did she go and why was she asking for me to meet her outside?
