Christian’s POV I sat on the front steps of the packhouse, anxiously waiting for Averie to return home. I saw her leaving earlier, but when I asked her where she was going, she refused to tell me. I could have used my Alpha voice on her, but that didn’t feel right so I let her leave even though my gut was telling me that I should go with her.
