We arrived at the mall and Averie was ranting about all the shops we needed to go to. “We will do mani-pedis after shopping so that we don’t accidentally chip our polish while trying on clothes.”
I stopped walking and turned to look at her. “Mani-pedis?”
Averie looked at me incredulously. “You asked for a girls’ day, you are getting a girls’ day. You can’t have a girls’ day without mani-pedis.” She said it so seriously, but I couldn’t help but shake my head and laugh. I was already loving everything about Christian’s family.
