Abbie’s POV I glared at my father angrily with my arms crossed over my chest. If anyone were to see us at a distance, it would definitely look like we were having some sort of old western standoff with the way we were staring each other down, waiting for the other to crack. “I’m the only one who understands what he is going through right now, I need to go be with him!” I snarled, feeling my wolf begin to take over a little. My father tensed up at my raised voice, and I could tell he was listening to make sure nobody was near enough to have heard me. “I already told Ian and Samuel what happened and they said they would check up on him,” he attempted to explain calmly. “You have to stay here so that people don’t start to notice all of us disappearing. We have to keep our appearance up.”
