Christian’s POV
We pulled up at Riley’s parents’ house and Ethan parked the car. I had sat in the back with her and she had yet to let go of my hand and I was glad she didn’t. The longer she held on to me, the more warmth radiated from her touch and soothed my body. I felt beyond relaxed now.
Ethan made eye contact with me in the mirror before he turned off the car, and I could see that he was happy for me. I finally understood how he felt when he found Sofie years ago, and I could see why he spent so much time with her right away. I didn’t know if I would be able to be away from my mate for very long at all, and I wasn’t even a werewolf!
