Mira’s pov I pushed pass all of them, smiling like I was also drunk till I moved pass them all and when I saw that no one was looking, I ran outside the border, my link with them all wavering as I ran in the dark. I wasn’t going to look back, my mind was set on just one thing and that is to take revenge that I forgot to ask my uncle if he was sure I was the only survivor and if no one else had managed to survive the war. It wouldn’t be good if there was someone else but then, it shouldn’t be a big deal if I kill the person if he or she steps in the way of my success. I have been running for days now and my lungs burned from dryness. My sandals must be chopped now seeing as the sole of my feet hurt so much but I was getting there. It was the only thing I could use to push myself forward.
