In all the times she had trained with Erik, they had always been partners. For the first time, she was going up against him. Emma had fashioned three AI squadmates for each of them. Erik’s military experience might give him an advantage in commanding trained soldiers, but Jia doubted Emma’s virtual dolls would be as effective as real soldiers under his orders.
