“Was it successful?” I ask.
“Yes Alpha. Your wife is in route as we speak.”
“Any difficulties retrieving her?” I ask.
“No sir. They were all distracted by the video. And the security was fairly light.”
“Good. I can’t wait to see Selene after all these years. I can’t wait to reminder her of the vow she made to me.” I say.
“She should be here in an hour Alpha.” Gordon says.
“Good. How are the fortifications coming along?” I ask.
“Almost complete. This place was perfect, you were right boss.”
“And did you get the candle?”
“It was hard to find, but we managed. Everything is ready.” Gordon says.
“Good. Now we wait for Dean to make his choice.”
“Which way do you think he’ll go?” Gordon asks.
