Dean’s POV
We completely cleared the house, no one was left alive. However, Lorenzo and Selene were not found.
“Any sign of them?” I ask as Rico walks back towards me.
“No. We found a basement with cells, but they were all empty.”
“Take me down there.” I say. Rico guides me downstairs to the cells. One cell door has keys in them. This might have been where they were holding Selene. If they came down here when the attack started, how did they escape?
“Search this room for trap doors or a secret passage.” I say. The men spread out and search along the cold dark walls for any signs of a way out. I can imagine that man running. He’s lousy like a bug that won’t die.
